Our collective quest for football glory always starts with a lot of fanfare and all the right hype but always ends with a whimper.You need not be rocket scientist to diagnosed the reasons for this pathetic situation.First, our football heroes never knows their priority and they are all hopelessly boozers; Second, our interest are short lived and goals short sighted. Frankly, our footballers are made to play weekly village Dog Sports or at best Area sports meet. To play competitively at State level or national Level needs a lot of investment that does not come cheap. Don't get me wrong am not even talking about financial matters!! Investment in terms of dedication, integrity, discipline, etc, etc. What ever happens to the much vaunted TUFF Footbal Club? I fear Kuki Sportung Club will take the similar route lest they set their priority right."MIND YOU I LIVE IN KOLKATA AND I KNOW HOW COMPETITIVE INDIAN FOOTBALL IS"
